Where is Reunion Ranch located?
The community of Reunion Ranch sits on the east side of FM 1826 if you are driving south from US 290 West. The entrance is on Reunion Boulevard, about 2 miles from the SH 45 and FM 1826 intersection Downtown Austin at roughly 18 to 20 miles away, so treat the drive as a real commute rather than a quick hop, and test it at the hours you would actually travel.
The location is nearly ideal for those that will be commuting to Downtown or even North Austin and want to be in Dripping Springs ISD. Reunion Ranch is the closest master plan community to Travis County / South West Austin while remaining in DSISD.
Sunset Valley an area of Austin with highly consontrated commerce, all the big stores and many smaller ones can be found there, is a quick 15 - 20 minute drive, depending on traffic of course.

What amenities does Reunion Ranch have?
Reunion Ranch has beautiful resort-style amenities. There is one, large, central amenity center at 1849 Reunion Boulevard with a gated pool, sport courts, play scapes, picnic and barbecue areas, a covered pavilion, many residents use this area for birthday parties, family and neighborhood gatherings. You’ll also find a business center, plus miles of hike and bike trails and parks along the neighborhood's expansive greenbelt and sports fields.
What schools is Reunion Ranch zoned to?

Be aware, school zoning can and does change. Especially in areas that are growing as quickly as Hays County, it is incredibly unlikely that the district would be rezoned. However, the zoning of elementary schools, middle schools, and even high schools does change, and as new neighborhoods come in, schools get built.
They often have a student population that gets redistributed to meet staffing and space restrictions. That means that the home that you are looking at (because it is zoned to an elementary school that you just love) may not be zoned to that elementary school a year from now.
The good news is that all of the schools in the Dripping Springs School District are truly excellent. They have wonderful, talented and caring educators and beautiful facilities.

Is Reunion Ranch walkable? Can you use a golf cart?
Reunion Ranch is another one of the many “golf cart” communities in the area, many homeowners have a golf cart-type of vehicle for getting around the community. Golf carts are often used visit neighbors, Trick-Or-Treating and participation in community parades or for just enjoying the beautiful views, especially at sunset.
There are sidewalks as well for safely walking and jogging and you'll also find bike paths throughout the community.
Ride shares (Uber, etc.) are easily accessible in Reunion Ranch however there is no public transportation and currently, as of 11/2026, there is no commerce planned within walking distance.
